We built shadom.co to help you track domains, not to track you. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
We keep things minimal:
- Email address — So we can send you magic links to log in and alerts when domains change
- Domain watchlist — The domains you choose to monitor
- Alert preferences — How and when you want to be notified
That's it. No tracking pixels, no behavior analytics, no ad profiles.
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't share your watchlist with anyone
- We don't track which pages you visit or how long you stay
- We don't use third-party analytics or advertising cookies
How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords aren't stored at all — we use passwordless magic link authentication. Your watchlist and settings are tied to your account and can be deleted at any time.
Third-Party Services
We use a minimal set of external services to keep things running:
- Email delivery — To send login links and domain alerts
- RDAP/WHOIS services — Public domain registry data to check domain status (no personal data is shared)
Your Rights
You're in control of your data:
- Export — You can view all data we have about you in your account settings
- Delete — You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. This removes all your data permanently.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll notify you via email. Minor clarifications won't trigger a notification, but we'll always keep this page updated.
